This is my Year of Jez ride.

Some of you may remember that a delightful young lady I had the pleasure of knowing had passed away in 2007: http://www.hogbiker.com/2007/09/17/we-will-never-forget-you-jezreel/83.

Sirock and I with Jezreel As I had my accident in 2008, I was not able to participate in Live Ride for MDA that year (I did raise funds though). That year the ride was dedicated in her honor which was both wonderful, touching, and saddening all at the same time.

So since I did not get to ride in her honor last year, this will be my year for her.

I have my 2008 shirt that proudly displays “The Year of Jez” and will wear it knowing that it’s wonderful children like her that we ride to find a cure for so that one day NO CHILD will be affected by these deadly diseases.
