We’re In The Harley-Davidson Mosaic!
If you hadn’t heard, Harley-Davidson did something unique for their 2010 catalog.
Check out the Harley-Davidson 2010 Mosiac at http://www.h-d-mosaic.com/.
Collecting thousands of photos from around the world, they created a cover that is a mosaic symbolizing the passion and enthusiasm of the community that has fueled Harley-Davidson for more than 105 years.
My girlfriend Lynn & I are part of the 2010 mosiac. You can find our pictures by using the following codes: karl1, karl2, karl3, karl4, & karl6.
The best part of this mosaic is that it showcases the people who ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles – enthusiasts, riders, their bikes, tattoos or experiences such as rallies, rides or concerts. The goal of the 2010 Motorcycle Catalog Mosaic speaks to the fact that no matter what your background or where you’re from, with Harley-Davidson, you’re part of something bigger…the Harley-Davidson family.
This is my Year of Jez ride.
Some of you may remember that a delightful young lady I had the pleasure of knowing had passed away in 2007: http://www.hogbiker.com/2007/09/17/we-will-never-forget-you-jezreel/83.
As I had my accident in 2008, I was not able to participate in Live Ride for MDA that year (I did raise funds though). That year the ride was dedicated in her honor which was both wonderful, touching, and saddening all at the same time.
So since I did not get to ride in her honor last year, this will be my year for her.
I have my 2008 shirt that proudly displays “The Year of Jez” and will wear it knowing that it’s wonderful children like her that we ride to find a cure for so that one day NO CHILD will be affected by these deadly diseases.
If you want to know more about Live ride, visit http://www.mdaliveride.com. If you’d like to help me in my goal of raising funds for the cause visit https://www.joinmda.org/lr09/twotone (you can even donate after the ride).
