Please Get A Checkup If You Haven’t Had One

Recieved this from a friend and wanted to pass it along to everyone. As bikers we tend to be tough people…and rightfully so. However, we also should remember that we’re still human and like our machines…we need to have checkups every now and then.

So as he says…please take care of yourselves, I know I’d like to see you on the road again.

To all my Friends, Family and Associates

Last week wasn’t very good one for me – I checked myself into the hospital at 9:00 am Tuesday morning with chest pains. I was taken to the cardiac unit at Regional Hospital the next day and spent 6 hrs in the Cath Lab and 2 days later another 2hrs to finish. I was fortunate that I did not suffer any damage to my heart , but did leave with 5 stints. My prognosis is a good one and hopefully will be back at beating on all eight in a couple of weeks or so.

My reason for writing this little letter is to let my friends know what happened and thank all of you that has showed so much concern. It is truly a wonderful thing to have so much support in my life.

To all my friends that have not been to the doc for check up –Go – it can save your life —if you are feeling tired or have shortness of breath there is a good chance something is sneaking up on you. All you need is an EKG, a blood test, and a stress test and all things will become clear.

Thanks again to all that have called and been there with me you cannot imagine what a comfort it has been.

Love You All
