Baby Is Home!
She was delivered today, and while the itch was hard not to scratch I have decided to follow my own advice (http://hogbiker.com/2008/03/12/yo-its-still-trike-season/111) and not jump the gun and ride early.
She is looking good though…storage did not hurt her a bit!
As a matter of fact, since she is in such good shape I may consider storing the bike every winter (that way things like dust, debris, kids, grandkids, Minx or I don’t constantly bombard the bike).
She is certainly looking good and she started up like a champ.
I can’t wait for the weather to warm up just a little to get her out on the road…with Minx, of course (I’m not willing to suffer the pains of a solo inaugural ride).

Took mine out today (Friday, March 21) for the first time. Still have ‘some’ snow in the driveway, but not enough to be a problem. Lots of dust on the roads ‘in the expected places’ but ‘riding aware’ of ones surroundings keeps me out of trouble.
Still on the cool side – temps only in the 40′s or lower – but with my electrics plugged in I was comfortable and at ease. Was very nice to feel the rumble of my Hog again after a long Winter.
